CG AGILITY & OBEDIENCE

WORKING WITH YOU TO ENSURE YOUR DOGS ARE HAPPY, HEALTHY & AGILE
I started agility around 2012 with my rescue American Bulldog x Boxer. After ironing many of her issues out, she did Kennel Club (KC) Obedience and was Novice in UK Agility (UKA) and Grade 2 in KC agility. I also trained my other rescue Boxer in KC Obedience and agility.

I currently compete with my Welsh Sheepdog who has achieved the highest level of Grade 7 in KC Agility and now also competes at KC Championship level. He has also been awarded the KC Silver Agility Warrant. He is also at Champion level in UKA competitions. He has made it to several Finals - The KC Royal Canin Agility Challenge Grand Final and to the UKA Grand Finals several times. He has KC Gold level of Obedience.
I also have a young Welsh Border Collie trained in obedience. She is quite young in terms of agility experience, is Grade 4 in KC agility and has qualified for the KC’s own Agility Club Starters Challenge Final held in 2023.

My personal CPD is important to me and I regularly attend top handler training workshops. I am an approved Agility Club (KC) instructor, a KC Agility Judge and UKA Judge. I have undertaken the Global Judging Programme's Course Design programme and pride myself on designing safe, flowing and fun courses.
I am DBS checked.
AGILITY & OBEDIENCE TRAINING
I provide you and your dog with a quality coaching session. I specialise in 1:2:1's, 2:2:1's and small groups so that I can tailor my coaching to fit the individual needs of my clients. Workshops and fun competitions also periodically take place.

Sessions can be agility and/or obedience based. I can coach you and your dog in agility both for fun and to a competitive level and beyond. If you would like your dog to be a good all round dog in obedience, I can help with that also.
Sessions take place at a safe & secure location where I can decide, depending on the weather or session type, on indoor (Astro turf), or outdoor (grass).
Under 18’s or vulnerable adults must be accompanied for 1:2:1 sessions.

TESTIMONIALS
I have known and trained in both obedience and agility with Carol for approximately 3 years. She is very knowledgeable in all aspects of dog training and has the patience of a saint. I can personally recommend her as you will not look back after joining one of her training classes. My Boxer Nellie and I always have so much fun and have learnt so much together.

I started agility nearly four years ago with my tiny Jack Russell. Carol gave me the same attention as those with more 'typical' agility dogs, so much so that she encouraged us to enter competitions, and we've done quite well. The saying 'those who can do and those who can't teach' definitely does not apply to Carol as she competes very successfully with her gorgeous dog Zorro. Our agility lessons are the highlight of our week!! Thanks Carol

I had the pleasure of being taught agility by Carol with Cocker Spaniel Charlie for the last 5 years and my Springer/Cocker cross for the last 3 years. The boys have done amazing and have come so far thanks to Carol's guidance and they absolutely love their time spent in the agility ring.

I started agility because I wanted to find something fun I could do with my bouncy Boxer Mac and Carol was recommended to me. We tried our first lesson and 4 years later we are still going strong. Mac loves every session and can hardly contain his excitement when he realises we are at the agility venue! Learning agility with Carol has been so much fun and so rewarding. She is a brilliant teacher who really understands how you and your dog learn, breaking things down into manageable parts and ensuring each session is a positive experience for us both. Not only have I found something fun I can do with Mac, my relationship with him has become much stronger and the lessons we have learned in agility have carried on into 'real life'. We have even started entering competitions, something I never thought we could do when we first started and that is all thanks to Carol's teaching, encouragement and support. Trying agility was the best decision I ever made!

I have known Carol for a couple of years through agility. Scout my border collie was a bit of a handful as a youngster so I contacted a behaviourist as he barked at other dogs / herding typical collie. I was told by this behaviourist that he could never do agility with him as he herds and was over aroused and that I should train the dog in front of me, so got chatting to Carol and she offered to help once a week with scout getting around her three dogs who are amazing getting some great behaviour focus foundation and watching her guys train at first blew his mind but by the end he laid calmly watching. I cannot thank Carol enough it was always fun and my silly boy loves her so I would recommend 100% for obedience and agility training. Scout is now agility training and hopefully making his debut in the agility ring this year
